The journey to Holy Orthodoxy is a long one, and it’s different for each of us. You’ll frequently hear folks refer to having come “home” to Orthodoxy, and for those of us who grew up in very different traditions this seems to be especially true. Two of the things that folks mention most often to me is that our parish “feels prayed in” and “feels like a real family; I’d like to think this is because 1) it is, and 2) we are. How we find our way home to the Church is less important than the fact that we’ve found it, but it still is interesting to think about. To that end, I would like you to spend some time this week reading about others’ Journey to Orthodoxy and give some thought to what first brought you to St. Andrew’s. - Fr. Iggy
